Pet Rentals Launch

The Pet Rental feature is now live in World of Eternians, creating exciting opportunities for both all Eternians. Owners can earn passive income by sharing their pets while still collecting Space Stones, saving them time and effort. Renters can participate in Special Missions and earn Space Stones without making a large upfront investment. The system handles reward distribution automatically according to the agreed contract terms.

1. Rental Mechanisms

1.1 Pre-Rental Process

Creating a Contract (For Owners)

• List your pet on the "Rental Market"

• Set contract terms and conditions

Browsing & Applying

• Browse available pet contracts
• Send rental offers (maximum 40 offers)
• Maintain up to 20 active rentals

Contract Acceptance

• Owner reviews and accepts offer
• Owner retains access until next stamina reset
• Renter gains access at next stamina reset
• Pet displays "Rent Pet" indicator for renter

Contract Management

Contract automatically transfers to new owner if pet is sold during rental period

*Note: Pets without plasma are automatically delisted from contracts

1.2 Post-Contract Activation

Once the rental contract has been activated and becomes effective, the following important changes and conditions come into place:

Access Rights:

• Renters: Can use pet in-game for activities (More details down below)
• Owners: Retain wallet ownership but cannot use in-game

Tracking and Distribution:

• Both parties can monitor Special Mission progress
• Space Stone rewards are split instantly per contract terms

Contract Termination:

• Renter cancels
• Owner cancels
• Pet runs out of plasma

1.3 Contract Completion

• When the contract ends, the pet automatically returns to the owner's account.
• Renter retains access until next stamina reset

1.4 Contract Details

 a. Rewards & Earnings Distribution

• Special mission rewards split automatically between owner and renter according to contract terms
• Owner controls the reward split ratio and Lucky Cake access settings
• Daily earnings calculate based on the pet's earning rate and the agreed split ratio
• Pet's earning rate and potential rewards are clearly shown in the pet details

b. Contract Termination Policies

• Both owner and renter can terminate the contract at any time
• Termination requests are final and cannot be reversed
• All active contracts end during the daily system reset
• Renters keep access to their rented pets until termination is complete
• After termination, pets automatically return to their owner's control

Contracts end immediately if the pet runs out of plasma, even if plasma is later restored

Attempting to transfer the pet to the renter's wallet will instantly terminate the contract

Owners can carefully evaluate and compare multiple rental offers by leveraging both the comprehensive Reputation Point system and detailed renter statistics. This evaluation process allows owners to make informed decisions about potential renters based on their track record and performance metrics in the game.

2.1. Reputation Point

Players build reputation points by completing Special Missions and lose them by missing missions. This point system reflects a player's reliability and performance

• Reputation points are permanent and can't go below 0, maintaining system integrity
• New players start with 1000 reputation points to enable immediate rental participation

2.2 Renter Statistics

• The following comprehensive metrics and statistics are tracked and maintained for all renters in the system to provide transparency and accountability:
  • Active rental contracts
  • Completed contracts
  • Completed missions
  • Missed missions
  • Total earnings from rentals
  • Total earnings generated for owners
• These statistics are visible in-game, helping owners evaluate rental offers based on renters' past performance and reliability.
