All You Need to Know About the Open Beta
Quick recap. The Alpha Playtest was Eternals Pew Pew’s first playable version, open to the public. You can consider this a bare-bones version of the game with the only basic functions enabled, the core gameplay.
During this time, while monitoring and hot-fixing the game, the team was hard at work, developing new features as well as quality-of-life improvements for the game. The Open Beta is the perfect opportunity to showcase them.
Chests and Boxes Can Now Be Opened
During the Alpha Playtest, players were able to receive shiny Boxes and Chests of varying rarity from in-game activities and Leaderboard rewards. There has been collecting dust over the entirety of the Playtest and now that the Open Beta is out, you can finally know what’s in them:
- Boxes: Contains crafting materials. The box rarity will also indicate the rarity of the material you will receive.
- Chests: Contains a gun with similar rarity or Leaderboard Points (when the Leaderboard is not active, you will receive Gold instead)
Introducing the Crafting Factory
We have made crafting as foolproof as possible. By using pre-existing Formulas, players can craft Chests that can contain Guns, Leaderboard Points, or Gold when the Leaderboard is not live. The rarer the recipe, the rarer the Chest you’ll get, and subsequently, the rarer the content.
If you are reading this far, there may or may not be a Limited-Time event related to crafting coming soon (no promises).
The Marketplace is Now Open
The Marketplace allows players to maximize the value of their in-game items. Players can now list in-game items on the Marketplace and receive Space Stones in return. On the other end of the spectrum, if you are looking for a good deal on your favorite Gun, consider visiting the Marketplace for a cheaper price.
Here are the Items can be bought and sold on the Marketplace:
- Guns
- Chests
- Boxes
- Crafting Materials
Also, do note that the Marketplace only supports items of EPIC rarity and above.

Leaderboard & Rewards
- The Weekly Leaderboard will run according to the start and end date and time of each cycle.
- The Seasonal Leaderboard will conclude at 2:00 PM (UTC) on December 1, 2025.
- The Team will allocate 200$ funds in $ETER to boost Seasonal Leaderboard rewards.
- The rewards will be distributed in $ETER via Coin98 Vault within 3 days from the snapshot day.
